Deputies Arrest Burglary Suspect

Upper Marlboro, MD… The Warrant/Fugitive Division reported the arrest Tuesday of Rashawnda Blake on an arrest warrant for First Degree Burglary obtained by County Police District III detectives on January 28, 2013.

According to the warrant, Blake broke into a residence in the 6100 block of Surrey Square Ln. in Forestville, MD, on January 24, 2013, and stole a Dell laptop computer and both Playstation and Nintendo Wii video gaming systems. The warrant indicates further that during the police investigation, it was determined that Blake pawned the stolen items at a pawn shop in District Heights, MD. The total value of the stolen property was $1,250.00.

Deputies investigating Blake’s whereabouts were led to a residence in the 6400 block of Hil Mar Dr. in District Heights, MD, where she was located and arrested without incident.

District III detectives were notified of Blake’s arrest and she was transported to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections – charged with First Degree Burglary and Felony Theft.
